Wijs offers a selection of training sessions aimed at small groups of up to 6 people. It is just like personal training but in a small group, so it’s a lot cheaper and a huge amount of fun. Each workout differs in intensity, but they all offer an exquisite combination of strength, relaxation and mobility. It’s best to combine different types of training to help you perform better as a person and an athlete.

Small group classes

Triple B

45 minutes max. 6 people

The simplest is often the best. BBB targets the buttocks, legs and abs muscles. This class is perfect for men and women looking to build strength and tone, and it’s also great to prevent and treat hip, knee and ankle injuries. The Wijs style BBB contains heavy strength sets in combination with endurance, explosiveness and stability exercises.

Outdoor Posture & Strength

45 minutes max. 6 people

We all know that sitting for long periods isn’t healthy. You won’t be the first person to suffer from repetitive strain injuries or neck and back problems. At our Posture & Strength sessions the focus is on training buttocks and back muscles, to form a kind of corset around your body, and build up resilience. As a bonus, it will help you stand straight and gain a more powerful and elegant appearance.

Wijs outdoor training

45 minutes max. 6 people.

Push yourself to the max, under the supervision of a trained and responsible physiotherapist and personal trainer. Our Stability & Strength is an outdoor boot camp training mix of cardio, strength training and boxing. Working with a small group you will make your way through a challenging circuit with competitive elements. Designed to keep you motivated. This is going to get sweaty!

BODY AWAKENING CIRCUIT

45 minutes max. 6 people

Circuit training is a full body workout with varied exercises designed to activate all of your muscle groups. Think squats, deadlifts and presses – practically everything you need to function in your daily life and when exercising. The perfect way to feel awake and energized all day long. You train with your own body weight and we supply the kit – dumbbells, TRX, balls. Suitable for all levels. If you are looking to find and push your limits, this is the training for you.

outdoor Core & STAbility

45 minutes max. 6 people

Core stability & mobility is a wonderful supplement to your other training courses. While other lessons focus on the larger muscle groups, this one is all about how to use your smaller muscles. You will become aware of your body through small detailed movements. The goal is to learn to move better and find the freedom and strength within your body. We draw elements from Pilates, coupled with our physiotherapy knowledge. This lesson is practiced barefoot or with grip socks.

WHICH GROUP SESSION WOULD SUIT ME BEST?

WIJS offers a wide range of group classes, from core stability and BBB to posture and strength, all designed in such a way that they can be easily adapted to the personal wishes of the participants. The groups are small (max 6) so you will get lots of personalised attention. And you can always ask one of our team which lesson would suit you best.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GROUP SESSIONS?

Both members and non-members are welcome to participate in all our group sessions. And you can always purchase a ride card for 1, 5 or 10 lessons.

HELP! I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I COME TO CLASS?

All group training sessions at WIJS are structured in such a way that they can easily be adapted to your injury. At the beginning of the lesson we will ask if anyone has any injuries that should be taken into account. The lesson is always taught by one of our physiotherapists who you can turn to for advice.
