Preparing for Your Physiotherapy Intake Appointment

During your intake appointment, your physiotherapist will need you to provide the following details:
If you have a referral letter for physiotherapy, please bring it with you to your appointment. Depending on the location of your injury and the nature of your complaint, you may be asked to partially disrobe during your assessment with your physiotherapist. This is because it is not always possible to perform an accurate and thorough assessment of the body when it is fully clothed. Please wear appropriate undergarments to allow for this and notify your physiotherapist if you are uncomfortable disrobing.

Policy

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is very important to us and it is reserved especially for you. We realize that life happens and that sometimes unexpected circumstances present themselves last minute. While we are truly sympathetic, when a client cancels without giving us enough notice, they prevent another client from being seen by our therapists and trainers.


In fairness to all clients, as well as to our staff, our 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy is in effect for all appointments, regardless of the reason for cancellation. No-shows and appointments which are cancelled/rescheduled within 24 hours of the start time will be billed the full cost of the appointment. For appointments which are paid for with pre-purchased credit packs, a credit will be consumed for all no-shows and late cancellations.


This policy is in place to respect the time of both our clients and staff, as well as to ensure fairness in our scheduling practices. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of our team.
