For an intake that includes treatment, choose ‘Fysio Intake: Assessment + Treatment’.
For an intake without treatment, choose ‘Fysio Intake: Assessment’.
For all follow-up treatments, book a ‘Fysio Behandeling’.
Do I need a referral to book a physiotherapy appointment at Wijs?
No referral is required for in-clinic appointments.
A referral is always required for home visits.
Will my physiotherapy appointments at Wijs be covered by my health insurance?
Not all insurance companies have a contract with us. Insurers who have a contract with us are shown below in green and those who do not have a contract with us are in orange.
With contracted insurers, the full cost of your physiotherapy session(s) will be billed directly to the insurer, provided you have physiotherapy coverage included in your insurance policy. If you are insured with a contracted provider but do not have physiotherapy coverage included in your insurance policy, the cost of the physiotherapy session(s) will need to be paid in-full by you.
With non-contracted insurers, the cost of your physiotherapy session(s) needs to be paid in-full by you. You will receive an invoice confirming your payment for the physiotherapy services rendered and can then submit the invoice to your insurer for reimbursement. You should reach out to their insurance company directly to confirm your reimbursement amount.
