Can you tell us something about yourself?

I am originally from sunny South Africa, where I studied physiotherapy graduating in 2016. In 2024, I moved to Amsterdam and have loved embracing life in this vibrant city while starting an exciting new chapter in my life.

Growing up, I was always active – learning to water ski at a young age and participating in multiple sports throughout school. This passion for movement naturally led me to study physiotherapy.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors. Whether it’s running, cycling, exploring new places, or enjoying the beach and mountains, staying active is an essential part of my life.

Can you tell us something about your treatment style?

I became a physiotherapist because I’m passionate about health, well-being, and the power of movement. Staying active is key to longevity and overall well-being, and I love helping others regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they enjoy.

My experience spans various areas of physiotherapy. I worked in the trauma unit at Groote Schuur Hospital – a large tertiary hospital in South Africa treating various conditions, here, I developed a special interest in chronic pain management. This led me to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain Management at The University of Cape Town. Later, I transitioned into private practice, where I discovered a deep passion for women’s health and pelvic floor physiotherapy, undertaking further training in this field, as well as overuse conditions and injuries involving the lower limb.

I am committed to helping women understand that their concerns are valid and that they don’t have to live with discomfort. As a certified Pilates instructor, I also teach pre- and postnatal Pilates, empowering women to feel comfortable in their bodies, stay strong, and move with confidence. My goal is to educate, support, and guide my patients toward better movement, strength, and overall well-being.
