Can you tell us something about yourself?

I am originally from Slovakia and studied physiotherapy at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. During my studies I gained experience in different healthcare systems across Europe, including internships in Switzerland, Portugal and Slovakia, where I worked in hospital and rehabilitation settings.

Fun fact: My interest in physiotherapy actually started when I had my first injury at the age of 16 after spraining my ankle during a field hockey match. I became interested in understanding how the body recovers and how to return to sports safely. That curiosity eventually led me to study physiotherapy.

Outside the clinic I enjoy staying active myself – you will usually find me running, going to the gym, climbing, spending time outdoors, or studying new languages, as I currently speak six languages.

Can you tell us something about your treatment style?

My treatment style is active and practical. I like to work closely with patients to help them understand the cause of their complaints and create a plan to get them moving again. In my treatments I combine hands-on techniques with exercise therapy. Patient education is also an important part of the process, helping people better understand their recovery. My goal is to help patients return to their daily activities and come back stronger.

What are your areas of interest?

My main interests are sports injuries, orthopedic rehabilitation and movement-based recovery. I enjoy working with people who want to stay active, whether it means returning to sports, improving performance or simply moving pain-free.
