I was born in Alkmaar and moved to Amsterdam for my studies. I graduated in 2020 and started working as a physiotherapist. From my interest in stress-related complaints and yoga, I decided to pursue a yoga teacher training afterward. There, my passion for a more holistic approach to health only grew stronger.
Since 2022, I have been teaching yoga with great pleasure and have increasingly focused on stress complaints, chronic pain, and stress and burnout coaching. In my approach, I look not only at the body but at the person as a whole, paying attention to both physical and mental balance.
I love traveling, discovering new places, and meeting people. Whether I am hiking in the mountains, skiing, surfing, or diving deep into the sea, I get energy from adventure and nature. I enjoy practicing yoga, running, and strength training. Additionally, I love music and can often be found at concerts and festivals.
In my treatments, I help people regain balance, both physically and mentally. This can involve improving muscle strength and mobility, but also finding calm, releasing tension, and relearning how to listen to the body’s signals.
I guide people in becoming aware of this balance, coach them through their recovery, and support it with targeted treatment methods. I frequently use techniques from yoga, breathing, and stress and burnout coaching. I work attentively and tailor treatments to what each person needs at that moment.
My goal is not only to help people recover from their complaints but also to provide them with tools for sustainable balance and recovery, so the issues do not return.
