Pilates Teacher

Can you tell us something about yourself?

I am originally from Málaga, in the south of Spain. And you will probably hear some Spanish in my classes when I get too excited. I danced professionally for more than ten years, and during that time I also studied psychology, driven by a curiosity about people and how we experience ourselves and the world.

That led me naturally into researching the intersections between physical training and mental health, getting me to study somatic bodywork, movement therapy, and Pilates. Today, I combine these approaches in my work, helping people connect more deeply with their bodies and discover new ways of moving, feeling, and being. I am constantly learning, and that is one of the things I love most about this field.

What inspired you to become a Pilates Teacher?

I have always been fascinated by the human body, movement, and our incredible capacity to heal, adapt, and transform. Pilates first came into my life through dance. I experienced my own postural challenges since I was a kid, and once I felt its benefits in my own body, something clicked. I remember thinking, “This is something I could happily do every day.” I wanted to share that feeling with others.

Seeing people leave feeling stronger, more comfortable in their bodies, and often smiling a little more than when they arrived brought me so much joy. It is a special privilege to accompany people on their journey, and I learn just as much from them as they do from me.

How would you describe your philosophy when it comes to Pilates?

My approach is supportive, playful, and curious. I believe movement can be both focused and enjoyable, and I like creating a space where we can explore that balance together.

I work from an integrative perspective – one where we build strength, balance, coordination, and mobility while also creating moments of calm, presence, and connection. My goal is for people to leave class feeling stronger, more grounded, and energized, with a little more joy in their day.
